COVID-19 Guidelines for Tattoo Appointments

All clients (and artists) will still be required to wear a mask for the entirety of their appointment, regardless of the Government of Alberta lifting the mask bylaw. For long sessions, the client may take the mask off while practising social distancing to eat/drink. While we do have a small supply of single use masks available, we ask that if you are able to, please supply your own mask. Please ensure your hands are clean when putting on the mask, as well as removing it and that masks are changed once they become damp.

Please wash your hands immediately upon entering the studio. You may use the washroom sink (located straight down the hallway from the entrance), or the sink located in the lobby area of the studio. Please ensure that you wash your hands for a minimum of 30 seconds with soap and warm water. Use paper towel to turn off the faucet as well as open the door (if applicable) after washing hands to prevent recontamination.

All clients are required to sign the tattoo waiver form and COVID-19 release online prior to their appointments time and date. All clients will receive this waiver link prior to their appointment time. This needs to be completed at least 1-hour prior to your appointment time. Please look for this email link in your inbox or junk and contact me if you have not received it.

We still ask that no guests accompany the client to the appointment.

All clients should take note if they are displaying any symptoms including cough, fever, shortness of breath, runny nose or sore throat that are not related to a pre-existing illness or or health condition, have travelled outside of Canada recently, or have been exposed to someone who has COVID-19.

NOTE: Please also consider rescheduling your appointment if you are experiencing moderate to severe symptoms of any cold or illness. I know this is a pain for everybody, but I do have a young family at home and am trying to make an effort to protect transferring ANY virus. Thank you!

The deposit policy requiring 72 hours business days notice is currently relaxed. If you find your self experiencing any of the aforementioned COVID-19 symptoms prior to your appointment, have travelled outside of Canada, or have been in contact with someone who has COVID-19, please contact me immediately to reschedule your appointment. This will not result in loss of deposit unless so long as I am given one (1) hour notice prior to the appointment. If you reschedule/cancel within one hour of your appointment or no-show your appointment, you will lose your deposit. All deposits are still non-refundable.

Email money transfer and VISA/MC/Amex are the preferred methods of payment at this time. I will still be accepting cash, although highly recommend using card if possible. There is no additional COVID-19 surcharge.

All cleanliness and sterilization procedures that were previously in place from the Alberta Health Board for Tattoo Studios are still being upheld, with additional measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19. I am adhering to all the personal services guidelines presented by the Government of Alberta and have completed both the ‘Relaunch Protocols’ Certification by the Alberta Alliance of Safe Body Art and the World Health Organizations Record of Achievement in ‘Emerging respiratory viruses, including COVID-19: methods for detection, prevention, response and control.’

Please contact me directly if you have any questions or concerns.
